I did not use these very often I normally ran a set of 18" fikse's using 3.6 turbo offsets. When I fit them to the track build wide body it doesn't appear I could go much wider than an 1" possibly 1.5" for a maximum of maybe 11.5" but then I have to consider tire sizes and availability.

Thanks

That shouldn't be happening w/ Cup1 9ET55wheels w/ stock 255/40 tires, it generally crops up when 10s are fitted to a n/b 964 w/275 tires usually it's a 993 10ET65 w/ ~20mm spacer It takes ~7.25" of backspace to get that, though 9ET55 is close at 7.17" backspace

The 11ET5 has a back space of 6.2" w/ a 313 tire the tire back envelope is 6.4" compared to the oe 9ET55 wheel backspace of 7.17" and 255/ tire back envelope of ~7.2"

the 11ET5 has a front space of 5.8" w/ a 315 the front envelope is 6", compared to the 9ET55 front space of 2.83" and 255 front envelope of 2.85"

I don't have any pictures of the tire marks, this was after I cleaned them. You can see the wear on the trailing arm casting. I felt it significant enough to add the spacers. This shows the rubbing on the trailing arm from running 9" cup I's without spacers and R888. Although this was mostly from AX not DE I still think sidewall flex is comparable under full load.

Thanks for the measurements i will look more closely into it.

I believe I read that the Rsr and or 3.8 have narrow body trailing arms.
Is it ok to switch 3.3 or 3.6 965 to narrow for more space and as I understand it much better agility and control. I would probably do this to a high mileage
3.3. Also would like to do the x99 option air inlets on rear quarters.
I know this won't help originality and price. But would it kill the value?
Obviously quality of x99 and steel over FG.
