If you find one...be careful with the paint. I would dip the feet in liquid rubber like the later racks have...the stuff you dip plier handles in...just to be sure to not chew through...

Good luck finding one. The ones for the beetle apparently fit, but they sit high...a little cutting and welding fix that...

Thx for your reply
I was thinking of fitting the clamps with little pieces of EPDM.

If you say the ones for a Beetle fit but they sit high... Any idea of how high? Any pictures?
Thx!

Think the beetles have a higher curve in the roof so would be a bit of a gap underneath. But of trimming and welding and it will be fine

What sort of weight can a rack like that support?

It's so, so wrong....

.....and yet...I absolutely love that Pedro roof system! That would be so handy with the Le Mans jaunt each year, especially with the little person now making noises about wanting to join me and my Brother on future runs....

@Bart - any chance you could post any info/pricing you find out pls? (or PM if that's more appropriate?)

Cheers
Spencer

Got several mails back from Pedro (on a sunday!!).
Price is $455, but, shipping (in my case) to Belgium is a whopping $400. I think UK will be the same.
However, if you buy 2, shipping remains the same. If you buy 3 or more, you must add $75 per extra rack.
It takes 12 weeks before they can ship.
