Default Momo Horn Button Not working

I installed my Mod07 wheel yesterday and everything went smoothly. I took it for a test spin and I do like the steering feel and having the wheel closer to my body. It reminds me of how the Porsche driving instructors said to position the wheel in the cars we drove at Barber...it is better to have your elbows bent at around 90 degrees then stretched outwards.

So anyway the Momo horn button doesn't work. Neither does the cheapo Ebay Porsche horn button I bought. The weird thing is when I bypass the button and touch the wire coming up through the hub to the grounding spot behind the wheel the horn will sound. I thought maybe the the little piece of ground wire might be faulty so I rigged up a piece of speaker wire to act as the ground wire and no dice.

For some reason do I need to have the horn button seated in the wheel for it to work? So far, I've been messing with it while its floating in front of the wheel.

hmmm. 99% there!

Solved: Turns out the button does need to be seated in the opening and the metal ring around the button acts a ground connection. No need for the extra grounding wire.

Yeah!
