My slang is clearly not up to date. What the hell is a Rodney (or are we back on the dipstick wipers?).

Quick update...............

Decision made and I just ordered it. Hopefully should hear from 9M in about 4 weeks when the charger turns up.

Christer - probably call you at the weekend to gloat.

There's really no need to gloat, I am almost as enthusiastic as if it was my own car! I am already really looking forward to it . I hope that I can make the trip up.

Speak to you at the w/e.

Hey Dave, don't leave Christer alone with your car. He'll get his socket set out and whip out that supercharger before you know it

Just out of interest...

Roughly how much would one of these conversions cost? I realise the all up cost depends on the engine etc, but what does the compressor / ancilliaries run at?

Nothing at all to do with me struggling to keep up with a couple of 965s over a mountain pass on Saturday of course..

Dave.

In the UK about £7K. £5300 for the charger, £450 for new intake (because my car is pre-91) and about £1K to fit. All including vat. Plus my insurance goes up about £200.

Mark - no problem. Hope to see a 964 on Monday.
