Default Tech9 'restoration' completed on 1990 C2

My dark blue with black/burgundy interior 1990 C2 is finally ready and thought I'd share some details / pictures... Thanks all for the help deciding various aspects, much appreciated. Much thanks to Phil Hindley at Tech9 also. They did all the work to an incredible standard and have complete OCD when it comes to Porsches. Everyone has their favourites but I wouldn't send my Porsches anywhere else!

1/ Engine: fully rebuilt with RS flywheel & clutch, Cargraphic sports cat, cup pipe, etc., and reprofiled cams together with bespoke ECU tune (300bhp peak). All OEM finishes & parts except the exhaust with light grey ceramic coating also.
2/ Suspension: fully rebuilt with new OEM parts but couldn't resist the amazing Bilstein PSS10 shocks and a strut brace. RS ride height and geo (but little less front camber I believe). Set up for B road blasts and not track work.
3/ Brakes: rebuilt, repainted etc. All standard except Goodrich hoses.
4/ Interior: generally renovated, some new carpets, leather, seat foam, etc. Plus Zuffenhaus '911R' steering wheel and their horn push. Fitted a CDR-210 from a 993 also as a great CD player (looks perfectly period) and has an iPhone connector in the glove box. Upgraded speakers also. Luggage compartment has an RS style small carpet in the same colour as interior carpet.
5/ Exterior: OEM 964RS aluminium wheels fitted (7.5" front & 9" rear) and much lighter than the replicas before. Techart brake ducts & lights, amber indicators, HID headlight conversion etc. Plus some painting required on bonnet and bumpers.

I'm sure I've missed things but thats the major parts… Need to recover from some surgery and then I can actually drive it and report on how it all feels. Can't wait...

And a few more pictures as we all know you can never have enough… I'll try and load the power/torque graph also. Some pictures seem sideways and I can't seem to get them right - many apologies!

Cheers...

Looks lovely, congrats

About the wheels do you mean genuine RS Magnesium wheels, or standard factory 964 aluminum?

Very nice!! I'm glad you kept it in 964 form!

What indicator/wiper stalks do you have fitted? They're dfferent to standard - are they off a later model?

Sorry. Factory aluminium but RS sizes, so the 7.5" fronts. Magnesium would be nice!

I thought they were standard! Like that when I bought it and no receipts etc for any changes (car came with a wonderful file of everything ever spent on it). I'll check with the previous owner and ask Phil @ Tech9 also (car still with him as he runs it in...)

And they came off an RS that had been driving on them also, hence the RS wheels in my mind...

They are from a 993. Prior owner fitted an on board computer (OBC) and needed a new stalk. Couldn't get a 964 one and so after a long wait fitted a 993 one. So there you are, learn something new everyday... Thanks!
