964 C4 in Cold/Snowy Winter?

That's where it would start and stop with me today. Did I enjoy my '92 C4 as everything from a track rat to 2nd home in the Sierras cruiser? Sure. But that's when it was a depreciating car that I ended up blowing off to my cousin for $15K when I got the '97 993 4S in '04.
Honestly, I'd subject the 996 Turbo to foul weather if I had the three AWD versions to pick from.
(No buried in snow like the 993 photo to share--and that day the car was only parked 6 hours at Sugar Bowl.)

They're made to be driven. I enjoy mine 365 a year. I repair what's needed as it comes. Surprisingly little in the way of rust after 5 winters, and where it popped up is where it comes in every 964, even the non-winter driven ones (windshield frame), and in poorly repaired previous damage areas.

I appreciate the replies, it's interesting to see where everyone falls. I would probably end up washing it everyday, as there's no way I could let it sit there with salt on it!

I would never drive my 964 in the snow up here.
Way too much salt.
Way too many other drivers without proper tires.
My daily driver is an Audi S6 and even though I have winter tires when it is a really bad snow day I will drive my wife's QX56.
I need the ground clearance in order to drive up and over curbs to get around the maze of stuck cars at every small hill.
