Default New to forum. First 964

My first 964 purchase. Have been on the lookout for the last 3 months and luckily found a C4 locally in fairly clean condition. 125k miles, new complete respray with all new body seals including windows, and doors. A complete engine rebuild at 90k miles and clean title for $26k. Seemed to have been a fair price compared to the market these days.

Thanks for looking

Welcome, looks like a good C4. Is it an 89?

I remember looking at that one when I was looking for a 964, I passed on it because the seller didn't have receipts for the engine build. Hopefully he was able to track them down for you. Congrats you are going to enjoy it.

That's strange. When I bought it they gave me a folder filled to the brim with the engine rebuild and paint work. It has a abs/diff warning light on but otherwise pretty clean.

That's good you got them, he send me a pic of the engine bay that had a sticker of the shop that did the rebuild. I tried emailing them but I never got a response. Do you have any plans for the car?

Installed New Recaro seats today, and Sparco steering wheel. Plan to wrap the dash in alcantara, RS door cards, new carpet, coil overs and i have 3pm turbo twists in 18" on the way so far.

Which model seats are those? I quite like them.

Looking good, those seats are great and they were on my short list.

They are the Recaro Cross Sporster CS, same as the Sportster but with lower bolsters to make it easier to get in/out. The nice thing is that they also have the seat back release integrated on the back shell.
