Looking at my car, Grand Prix White I see:

908 9 1
Grand Prix White
P5

908 is the paint color I believe but what do the extra 9 and 1 and P5 refer to?

Correct, 908 is the paint colour.
Mine is 700 9 2 Black Shawarz A1.
I've previously looked in to it but, unfortunatly, havn't been able to find a definitive answer to the other codes.
Perhaps it refers to the interior colour codes, or the paint manufactoror maybe? (most likely Glasurit I believe)
