Hi everyone

Perhaps I should have made it clear that I am only relating to you what my Porsche specialist is saying - and they have apparently converted quite a few over the years. If I was going to go that route then I would definitely have it backed up by their assurance that if there were problems then I would have the option of switching back. Of course, if I ever fitted DTA or Motec then I would not hesitate (at least from a stalling point of view) to do this upgrade as these more modern management systems are much better in a lot of ways than our aging systems.

Just to clarify. and no, they were not trying to sell me a LWF set up at the time....

I have just got off the email with somebody who to solve the stalling problem on his C2 with a LWF, followed advice, removed it, sent it to Andial and had it modified. They install an inhouse designed 7 lb ring on the engine side of the LWF flywheel. I thought they had their own flywheel but actually they modify the existing unit. He is very happy with the result. This particular discussion between myself and htis owner started quite some time ago. It is nice when something works out like this.

I am not naming him because I hope he posts his whole story to the list.
