Hmmm...P21S is manufactured by (wait for it) Dr OK Wack Chemie

Yes, really! This seems to be their website http://www.iauto.co.uk/system/index.htm but I don't see the products that Georgie mentioned...

I second Garys Zymol suggestion, however leave the HD Cleanse on for 5 minutes and then polish off and make sure you put at least 2 to 3 coats of wax on.

Just washed the car (well, beats working...). Anyone found a good (ie easy) way of getting dead bugs, small mammals and the like off the paintwork?
Phil,

I use P21S Total Car Wash, some kind of orange stuff in a spray bottle. Hose the bugs down, spray this stuff on and a soft brush...no more bugs. I use it on the front, the mirrors and the windshield. BTW I also use P21S Carnuba Wax and I get a great look. My C2 is Forest Green as well, looks black at a distance and a deep green up close.

Default Meguiare's

An update as promised.

Tried the Meguiare's over the weekend- their 3 step process (clean, polish, wax).

Here's the results...(photo by John Boggiano - hope you don't mind John; let me know if you do)

Easy to use too. I've washed the car tonight too - very grubby after blasting around Wales yesterday. Used the Meguiare's wash additive and the car has come up loke the photo again. I like it!

Still want to try the Zaino though,,,

Hi Detailers!

I've always found that if you use Carnuba wax bugs etc. wipe off very easily. Furthermore if you wash car with anything more than pure warm water you will remove the wax.

Actually Piers, if you use one of the shampoos that are designed to work with Carnuba wax then they don't remove it. Rather, it is the use of chamois leather afterwards that removes wax. One has to use a clean soft cotton cloth to dry the car.

Obviously the wax will slowly be removed over time, it won't stay on forever!!!!!

Phil - thanks!

Christer - I didn't know this; how/why is chamois leather different to a cotton cloth?

For carnuba wax users best way to dry car is to wash car and immediately drive off very fast...water blows off!

I have never dried my P-Car any other way.

Christer, thanks for tip re. carnuba friendly soap, have commenced investigations!

Piers

I used Meguiare's Soft Wash Gel yesterday after using their Carnuaba wax at the weekend. They say it doesn't strip wax off the paintwork.
