Has anyone seen a 964 fitted with 993 head lamps?
I should have some more info on this in a few days if anyone is interested.

964's don't look right unless they have the proper little shoulder edge on the headlight lense. All those other lights are bug lenses essentially. I'm happy with my 600 dollar regular old H4's.

RPM have fitted the Nolden lights to my project 964. They have developed a full plug and play kit that will be available to purchase very soon. I don't know the price so please ask them directly.

Noldens are a whole lot cheaper on eBay.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Universal-7-...-/380834526856
In the listing, they quote as fitment on 911 to 1986, so I guess that includes 964 - so does that maje them plug 'n play..??

If you look at the pic at the top then you can see some non standard screw tabs in the other bucket...
These look like they would imitate an old 911's anchor points for the H4 lights.
Would be nice to know whats involved if Nick can divulge!
But I guess that would cost RPM business if they plan to do a kit?

My car is a 1985 and I believe the only real difference in the headlights is that it does not have the beam adjustment that the post '86 cars have.
Don't hold me to that but I'm pretty sure that people have fitted 964 headlights to the impact bumper cars.

Really really keen to have some decent lights for the Pit, and these sound pretty interesting. Stupid question, assuming if these come from the US, aren't they set up for driving on the right? Is there a setup for RHD so that we can use them in the UK? Is it the same light kit, just adjusted differently? D-Zug lights are still a potential for me, and they advertise RHD fitment, so there must be some kind of difference...
Which RPM is it, the one in London or Leeds (tho probably not the one in Scotland)?
End of dumb questions!!

If you do a search for "Nolden led land rover" you'll get some more info and comparisons...
Oh and the RPM is the one in Hertfordshire
