Beware the fitting instructions! Second fitting gets it done.

So back and two side windows are in! Only took 2 bottles of wine and a 750ml of La Fin Du Monde belgian beer from Canada.

I also have the last peices of the puzzle to figure out pictured at the bottom. Logically they should just screw into the top of the door jam, just as it did with the convertible top, but my tenative attempts at that were thrwarted and I figured I'd try to get a hold of D.Moris for better info.

Bummer the instructions from D Morris are not that great. GL and let us know what you find out from them.

I'll be wiring them the payment today so hopefully in a month or so I'll be doing the same as you

I was wondering about those long L shaped plastic pieces too. Wish the instructions helped a little more.

dhc905, I like the two tone look. The black top works well with red and the black trim around the rear spoiler. I think a black Carrera side stripe decal would be nice to add.

For those that have installed the hardtop, is there any issues in just having it painted before proceeding with any fitting? There is a sentence in the instructions about sanding the rim (?) if needed. Definitely not many pictures in the installation instructions. I definitely do not want to install too much before painting.

are you guys having any issues with leaks or noise since install?...was contemplating purchasing one as the EURO has weakened and bringing it over would cost about 20% less...

You should be able to get a discount on all non-OEM Porsche parts.

Any update dhc905? I am on vacation next week in Costa Rica, however when I get back I will be ready to start getting my top installed. Should be a fun diy (well hope so).

You should have it painted before you install it. The L shaped pieces are trim that cover the bolts that are visible behind the front windows. The bottom of the L lays along the bottom of th rear window and kinda wedges into the back. The top of the L is held by Velcro. Not ideal but okay looking. There is some wind noise I stil can't get rid of but not too bad.

Duck et al, I will be putting the finishing touches on my instructions sooner rather than later. Not sure if I can attach a file, but I'm sure we can figure it out.

I left out two small gaskets when I installed mine, and have to take the whole thing off to put them on, so I'll verify the instructions and take additional pictures.
