Hello Rennlist, My name is Harry, my son, Kevin AKA UserA has been on rennlist for 15 years and got his love of everything Porsche from me. I bought a 944 that Kevin totaled when he 16 so he paid me back 20 years later with this:

Then got me set up even better with this a couple years later with a 1990 964 C2 manual. Put 10K miles on the car with no issues, but now the car started to die for no reason then fire up again. Kevin had me swap the DME and it looked like it fixed it, but now the car starts up, idles well but seems like it is starved for fuel once I raise the revs.

My apologies for any omissions, but I have grown to love this car and do not have the money to drop off the car at a shop and have them chase the issue down, so I was hoping that I could look for the basic stuff myself. I searched for Starved and Starve but didn't see anything other than DME related stuff. I switched that again to make sure but I have the same symptoms.

Thank you for the help, Kevin said that this place is the only way he can afford to own Porsches.

When is the last time you changed coils? Plugs? Wires? Rotors and dist caps? Fuel filter?
