It is not as bad as it sounds. A convoy can always decide how the overtaking should be done. When I was leading I would always consider that 3 cars should have room to get past. The trick is to trust the guy in front if you have agreed things up front. That way, the second car can just pull out straight after the first car without seeing for himself whether the road is clear. Of course, it can also be a free for all where basically everyone does their own thing and try to stick together. As I say, it is best to agree up front otherwisé the guy pulling out behind you can get a shock.

Most of the journey on the A roads I was behind Christer and in fact on many occasions I thought "if he goes I can probably go as well". Alas, I don't think this filtered down all the way to Dave on many occasions, but it does take a lot of space for 3 cars to overtake. Thats why its best not to drive in a convoy larger than 3 cars if you want to concentrate on the roads.

As promised, here are a few pics of the day. Well, the pub anyway.

Hey, now surely you took some time out to stop and take some arty-farty photos for the competition. Beautiful sunny day and you are drinking in some dark and dingy hostelry.

I suppose that picture 12 has some photographic merit, but spoiled of course by that yellow thing in the background. Now, you could of course photoshop it out!
