I use Matt black put apply it slightly wetter than should be applied to give it a Matt/shine to give the effect of black plastic.
It needs to be degreased througholy though to remove all traces of silicon, grease and previous rejuvenating plastic sprays etc.
In fact I think it would look even better on a bright coloured car. Imo it fits in with the Aero mirrors, body coloured bumpers/ under sills and 993 door handles...
I've also been debating on whether to color match the spoiler grill. Love how the split grill on the 993 looks when color matched. Was even thinking of what a split grill would look like on a 964. Did some research and found out that it wouldn't fit. Anyone else know for sure? The next best thing would be to color match the existing grill. Found this pic on the web. Sorry for the horrible pic. But it gives you an idea of how it would look on a bright colored car.
