The car thing is all about all of it, owning, driving, breaking , and fixing...so for dbfd, we needed some sort of badge of honor for those that get under the car themselves and wench. I see a lot of guys buying a lot of awesome cars around here, and then I see the same guys using a local shop for oil changes, brake bleeding, an all the rest. Nothing wrong with not wrenching, but for me, so much of the ownership and experience is doing the work to make the car right and keeping it there. I know a bunch of guys that are car guys at heart, and always wanted to do this stuff, but didn't ever have the opportunity to learn and don't have the tools - so it seems to be a huge undertaking to go from "I can't" to "I can"....

This is the badge for all those that make that jump. Grab the tools , and get the car out if the shop. Drive it break it fix it and drive it again.

Default 3.6 Installed, but needed a few mods

Installed the 3.6 from Patrick Motorsport. I had to lengthen the thread. The original is too short for our grills. Used M4x25 cut off the heads. Larger washers painted black. Took a photo while waiting for a pickup from the airport. No rush here to be moved on...

3.6
