No need to explain, if you love 964's and 964 turbo 3.6's especially, this is the one that put it on the map. The Bad Boy's 1995 movie car that is noted as being one of the top 50 movie cars of all time. IMO it is #1
Locally owned previously by rennlist's own Bad Boy 1 will be shown at a special invite Concours event this weekend. Last I have heard of this car was when Bad Boy 1/ Frank993C4s and I got together for this private gathering. It sold to the Drendel Collection about 6 years ago and I was worried it would not appear in public again. Unfortunate events lead to the Drendel collection being sold off. RIP
If interested in seeing this rare and iconic 964 turbo 3.6 it will be on display at the invite only Pinehurst Concours De Elegance in NC this weekend. Rumor has it, it has changed hands and will be back amongst us once again. Based on what i see the competition has no chance of besting this incredibly beautiful and amazing piece of history in a Concours event.
All the best to the new owner. Here are some old shots from 2008 I have. I hear it is in perfect shape now. (not that it wasn't a prime example to begin with)

Awesome. I loved the car - the movie made me 964 aware.
What really started it for me was walking into Porsche West London.... There was a Zermat silver over black 3.6. I remember thinking it was the prettiest car I had ever seen.
After that sight - I just had to own a 964 one day. We're all very privileged to own any example of this fantastic generation of 911.
