Hi guys,
I seem to keep finding things in my engine bay!

I changed my oil today, and found this thing sitting on the engine tin in the back right corner near the AC compressor. It's square, about 2 cm on each side and about 7 or 8 mm thick. The center is threaded and the front had marks on it was screwed to something smaller. Any ideas what this might be from? The car has had some AC work done recently and I thought it might be one of the spacers for the compressor mount, but I can't seem to see where it would go.

Looks like a piece of the oem speed nuts used to bolt the heat shields on...

 

That is the nut that goes to the bolts holding the compressor on, its probably from the rear/drivers side where there is an extra bracket ..your ac guy forgot one!

 

Silver targa is right...I was thinking it was smaller. But yeah..that's the one. There should be four holding the compressor on.
