Hello everyone!
Hi folks, thought I'd pop out of the lurker closet now that I got a chance to take a pic of the car to post. Bought it recently from GTone in Chertsey. Pretty much standard except for a LWF and a fresh engine rebuild from them. Top blokes at GTone - very service orientated and capable too.
This is my 3rd 911. Had a 1989 3.2 Carrera in 1999 and a 1991 964 Turbo in 2001. Interestingly enough I bough the Turbo for £27k and sold it for £24k two years later - happy days...
Got tempted back into the Porsche fold mainly by the noise thing. I bet if you asked a youngster today what noise a car makes, they'd say "whoosh". Guess it's the way of the world now - just look at (listen to) this year's F1...

Welcome PhatPhlatSix. Very nice looking later-year 964. Quite a few Brits wandering around the forums. I don't think that you could touch a turbo for £24k these days!

I figure I would have spent at least £25k on servicing and engine rebuild if I'd kept the turbo, so I probably wouldnt be too far off current value now. Wish I'd bought an RS back then....
Current projects are the speedo is away at Reap getting re-furbed, made a rear wheel-arch liner for the left-rear (will try and post a pic soon), and blower by-pass. Big thank you to all the posts that gave me info on the above.
In the short to medium term, Otto Fuchs 17" wheels and Bilstein PSS10 suspension kit.

Sorry, had issues with previous photos cos they were too big. Replacement now in...
