Default well... that's it.

Sold the car. It all happened kind of quickly from the CL ad. I got what I felt I could. I didn't have the funds to put into it to get it back to where I wouldn't feel guilty about selling it, so it went as is for an acceptable price.

I want to thank all of you who have commented, suggested, assisted, and been there as friends and fellow enthusiasts! The 964 board is a respectable, honorable community of loyal Porschephiles! I couldn't have found a better group of like-minded individuals to share my love of Porsche with. I will forever consider you all my Porsche family. Maybe some day I'll be back.

Thank you again for all the love and support you've shared.

“May the road rise up to meet you
May the wind be always at your back
May the sun shine warm upon your face
And the rain fall soft upon your fields
And until we meet again
May God hold you in the palm of his hand”

Sorry for the loss. It's tough letting a car go. Bummed you're down a 964. Happy trails to you and thanks for the input.

Happy trails, Hawk but I think you'll be back. Porsches are an addiction that make heroin seem like a vague craving to eat something salty

Well sad to see you go, but it just means another lucky soul has the great fortune of owning a piece of Porsche history.

Kind of funny that you sold this, and if any of you are TCL followers, a well known gentleman of the same name "Hawk" has also sold his P car this month... Although he is in Canuckistan and had a Cayman.

Wish you well!

Well I'm glad you felt you got a fair price. Sorry to see you go but pop in once in awhile to check in. Hopefully someday you'll be bitten by urge to drive another and we will see you here as a regular again.

I'm glad you got the "right" money, but I feel sorry for you... I imagine how you feel...

Hi Hawk,

You're air-cooled, it's a state of mind and I'll look forward to welcoming you back.

Good luck,
Paul

This. Aircooled 911s are dangerously addictive.

It's not an addiction it's a virus. There is no 12 step, there is no know cure. It can go dormant for years, decades even, but when to returns the only thing you can do is feed it.
Be advised all who dare partake, once in the system it cannot be exercised.
