Hello all, I am new to the 964 forum. Could anyone please show what the engine number looks like on a 964 engine? I am looking at a 964 but the one I was looking at has an engine number that is different from the Certificate of Authenticity. I cannot tell if it is an error on the certificate, if the engine has been restamped, or if it is a replacement engine.
Just wanted to see if the numbers on the engine I saw, are the same font/style as other 964 engines.

Can you tell us what RS this is from. Does it happen to be black by chance?

RS should have a number within this sequence 62N 80001- 82500

Hi yes the car is black. I just wanted to see what the engine numbers look like on a 964 engine block. I am aware of the number range of the RS engines. Thanks
