964's for sale, PCA Panorama
Anyone see the March 2014 issue of Panorama? There is only one 964 for sale in The Mart. It's a '92 America Roadster - $89,500.
What's up with 964's? They seem to be getting more and more scarce despite articles like the rubbish that was recently published in Excellence bashing the 964. Is it true that a lot of 964's are going to the UK and back to Germany? And bringing strong prices?

All true. To some extent it's regression to the mean- for a long time the 964 was at the top of the 911 'value' heap (paid $15k for mine). Word gets around, people learn "Hey, them cars ain't so bad after alls!" and boop- prices rise.

Paid $18k for mine just 3yrs ago. Put it on the market recently for 25K and inquiries abounded. Quickly took it back off the market. I don't know what's going on, but I think right now all air-cooled 911s are hot as hell and the 964 is also floating up with the tide after being the ugly step-child for far too long. It's about time.
