Greetings:

I've been working with Stefan at GTS Classics to source a set of seats like the ones below for my 964. My current seats are original and in great shape, so I'll simply set them aside. I really love the look of these seats. Does anyone have something like this in their 964? Anything I should be aware of changing seats from original?

Also looking for a shifter like the one pictured, but haven't had any luck.

Regarding the shifter, a RLer has a similar one that was made by Paul Stephens in the UK. I love the look and I have contacted him in hopes that it could be available for purchase. Perhaps more inquiries to PS would spark something?

I'd start with a set of recaro rally II seats, have them reupholstered in the correct fabrics, and add grommets. You'll end up with a very similar look, but without power.

Speaking of them, GTS Classics just posted a set for sale https://www.facebook.com/permalink.p...id=91499798197

Thanks for the notes. As for updates:

I called and emailed Paul Stephens regarding the shifter. Never heard anything back.

I've been working with Stefan from GT classics and it looks like something will work out eventually. It's been slow going and I've asked numerous times. Stefan has assured he can do it, it's just a matter of when.

I like the reupholstered recarros. Might be an option. Was also thinking of a Paul Champagne quilted. Not 100% on anything.

I think I can fabricate a retro shift **** and I might give that a go. Thx!

Ben has a PS 964 and he mentioned to Paul that there were several folks interested in his shifter. He PM'd me a few days back saying that the gentleman who made the molds for the shift **** is no longer in business and not returning PS messages, so he is trying to find another solution. Hopefully something pans out, but keep us updated if you find another solution.

There was a post on pelicanparts about the same thing. The person ended up getting a pair of BMW e30 seats re-upholstered to look like the Singer ones. Looked very good too.

Nice! I was looking for a set but could not find anything for less than a kidney, arm, and a leg.
