Hi everyone,

The C2 Coupe apparently weighs 1350kg and the C4 1450kg.

What do these figures include in the way of options?

I'd like to try and work out how much my C2 Coupe weighs. It's standard and has Aircon, sunroof and a rear wiper in the way of options that would add weight. Does anyone have any idea?

I am still waiting for someone to say how much a targa and a cab weigh. Hopefully someone has the answers.

It states curb/kerb weights. AFAIK, this is the weight of the vehicle with all fluids & approx. 1/4 of a tank of petrol.

For USA spec, I think you might assume all 964/993 have sunroof & A/C.

You'll note "Car & Driver" performance data is hopelessly optimistic but it does help sell magazines & cars

Weight in my signature is with 1/4 tank, complete A/C delete, without spare (c.14kg) and with min 2l of washer fluid (holds 7l), all original steel panels, PAS, sunroof & Heigo Clubsport with harness bar ... plus other "light-weighting" mods ...

 

The easiest think to do is go to any Moving & Storage Company, they have scales that are used to weight trucks before/after loading and you can get your car weighed.....

My 1990 C2 cpe weighs 3,003 that is with 18'' turbo twist wheels, rear wiper delete, foglight delete. Bilstein coil overs. Stock interior. This was the weight with spare tire, books, and tool kit inside.
