Default Burn victim to pretty.

Here she is basically done. Some kinks to work out. Spoiler not working in this car. (worked when I connected it to donor) have not even checked fuse. Brake light on, bleed clutch again, hvac, why the cabin has oil burning smoke into it. I did dump a ton of oil on everything. The usual little crap. Oh, anyone know where the license plate light plug connects? I have no brake lights, just driving lights in rear…Like I said, small crap to sort.

The license plate light plug is in the right rear tail light (or the left, i'm not completely sure) but it's easy to get to.

It's a bullet plug connector.

Good to see her in running condition.

It seems to be a flat two prong connector with the side squeeze. Either way i will check out that area. Didn't see that being the case on my wreck donor. Thanks. Excited for my new taillights from Sonnen Porsche. They are best deal around. Shocking a dealership is cheap. Center reflector is $376.

Thanks Laker. But I think we all know I have not gone anywhere. Haha. Spending the eve as usual reading up on solutions to the little jobs left to do/sort. I am digging this light interior. What is it called? Light grey? It is currently filthy. need s a good scrubbing and condition. What is best to clean leather with? I was thinking of something a little strnger then "leather cleaner /conditioner" that I have. seems like more like a "fantastic" Job to remove all the dirt in the cracks. Any suggestions?

Auto Glym leather cleaner and care balm worked for me. Although I have a dark blue interior...not sure how well it will work for your light interior.

By the way your targa looks great especially in black with the white interior for contrast and will stay cool in summer heat.

Thanks Mixter. I found the car from the mechanic of the original (only other registered owner) and he loved the combo. Original owner saw the car on my fb and he happy to see it alive again. I bought it after engine fire w no motor and fresh paint after the fire. I can get orig motor but it is burnt on top and needs top end. Mechanic wants 3 grand, seems a bit high when you consider the amount of crap I would have to buy. complete top from intake and everything. I am not sure if it is that important to have original motor...Anyway, I love the contrast myself.

Nice job Greg its looking good, Gliptone is an excellent product for your leather

http://www.liquidleather.com/ and the latest autoglym carpet shampoo is excellent if you need to clean up your carpets pretty sure the Porsche name for the colour of your interior is Linen

These cars will be worth something one day...having the original motor (even if it is not in the car) in my opinion is worth $$$

FWIW the interior looks like Light Grey (same as mine but I have blue piping). Linen is close but more beige/cream than grey
