Can anyone comment how Porsche corporate would react to you (us) using their tightly held copyrighted material? Our local PCA chapter was redesigning a logo and learned we couldn't use, for example, the 911 silhouette and many other images and names because of corporates objections. This was for use in a Porsche approved club. Not sure how they'd react to a renegade bunch of guys printing t-shirts.

Good luck to them. I imagine the goal is not to mass produce, and I am sure he is not under the arm of Porsche as they can't dictate much only threaten unlike the PCA. Are they going to sue a guy who makes a few shirts for his friends? Never know I guess, but I wouldn't sweat it.

Getting closer now - only issue now is where to order from. Anyone have any experience with tshirt companies?
I've been looking into various online companies that I can download the shirt design to and everyone can order directly from them in whatever colour tshirt they want (pricing seems to be right around $25-32ea including shipping to CAN or US). I just have no idea what the quality is like.
Locally, I can have them made and ensure they are good quality - if ordered in bulk, there would be a bit of a savings, but would still have to ship out the shirts - so won't really save $$ except for folks in the GTA.
I'm going to do some more research over the weekend, but if anyone has any good/bad experience with any companies, feel free to PM me.

I used cafepress.com to make t shirts with a picture on them. It came out pretty good. I only would order x-large next time.

A hockey friend of mine has a business in Bangkok doing sports and company apparel. www.jogsportswear.com Depending on the order size he offers really good deals. Good Canadian boy.

Okay, been doing lots of research. I will be uploading the tshirt images onto a US tshirt site and a Canadian site so no one has to worry about getting a bunch of shirts and then shipping them! You can choose your tshirt, colour, etc as well.

I take no responsibility for the final product - I will contact the companies to ensure the resolution is high enough, etc.

I may also look into using a local (Toronto) company for people who are in town and can meet in the GTA to pick up the shirts.

That said, I can customize the online shirts (within reason) for colour, wording on sleeves, etc and put them on the sites for anyone to order. You can PM me with details.

I'm hoping to list them this weekend.

Thanks for all the work on this Doc! Looking good! Would it be too much work if you included an option for the front chest logo to just be the numbers "964"? Omit the word Carrera all together.

Here we go again?? Wth? Just a suggestion which was directed to Mitch. Can't please all unless it does you? Have a lil patience worse he can say is no which is totally fine. I was gonna PM him but thought someone else might like the same idea for the purpose of possibly pleasing some not all.
