I am in Switzerland.
Who does good work to restore std C4 calipers to stock form?
References and testimonials welcome.

Is it not a fairly commoditised service? Not knowing any better, I'd let my local Indie do it.

If my indie can do it, so can I.
I'd like a company that specialises in this for the best possible results with the known issues of these calipers.

I'll second freedman's recommendation.

Had my C4 rears refurb'd last summer. Thomas dealt with the plate lift, powder coated and lacquered, new seals, nipples and covers, all done in about a week. Can't go wrong...

You can disassemble the calipers by yourself and then send them to deteil.net for powder-coating (70€ the pair). Buy new gaskets in the PZ and assemble the calipers again...

No affiliation to any of these, it's just my list I've compiled for when I have to overhaul my brakes.

Sorry but they're all UK based.
Porsche Calipers has been recommended to me by Chris from Exel wheels though...

Had mine done (all four callipers on a C4) by Big Redd. Excellent service and price. You can post to them once removed from the car. Helps a lot if you have a power bleeder to bleed them once re-fitted to the car. Regards, Les.

I've used this company (actually I think he is almost a one man company) for my Porsche 993 calipers. Good results and he posts on 911UK as a sponsor.

George, I'm getting mine done by Porsche calipers in the UK. I've been told they are not far away from my office.
Do you want all 4 refurb'd?
I live near Morges, if we can meet up sometime, I should be able to take them with me when I fly back to the UK, which I do most weeks.

Cosmetically, with my black calipers, POR 15 flowed out beautifully.
They look great. They are protected

Only problem with Porsche Calipers (re named pro calipers) is that he had coyright issues with Porsche, hence the name change and can no longer put Porsche name/script on the calipers once refurbed, at least as far as he last said on 911Uk

I e mailed them last year about a refurb, and they said they could not offer any service for Brembo calipers
