Here's an updated version of the chart

I'd want 993RS wheels carriers at RS and lower ride height

all cars have bump steer including 964/993, it's just that any suspension has a height range where it can be kept to acceptable levels. The range for stock wheel carriers is higher than the range for 993RS wheel carriers.

yes, 964RS used wheel carriers w/ the same geometry but at a lower height but the factory corrected that as soon as they could

As Jason says do be advised that at the really low levels road irregularities become much more of an issue, you'll want to be sure what the road ahead looks like

Vandit, they are exclusive to AH and Rotiform. Contact Brian or Jason over at Rotiform.
I am running them as well, definitely recommend them if that's what you are going for.

AH exclusive are definitely not the same as you get from H&R website, different design all together. only using H&R parts.

Do the ah h&r have stainless bodies? Trying to determine a "all weather friendly" solution.

Im fairly certain H&R have zinc plated steel shock bodies and not stainless. I couldnt find it stated anywhere so Im just speaking from a "hold it in your own hands and see the difference" perspective, also they take a magnet.... stainless steel would not. I can understand the concern but its possible to have a stainless shock body and height adjuster seize just as easily as other types. The key here is maintenance and keeping them clean and lubricated.

I have experience with these three setups;

RS spec bilsteins with H&R green springs (drove great but it wasnt low enough for my taste)

KW Variant 3 (At my desired ride height I was all over the bumpstops up front, that was a buzz kill) although many here use them and like the KW it didnt fit my end goal.

I ultimately ended up on the boutique H&R setup from rotiform and Its been low driving bliss ever since, Im very happy.

Given your situation with bad new england roads I'd be willing to bet you'd be more than happy with the boutique H&R at a normal to low ride height. The added plus would be that you always have the option to lower it more if you like and have the comfort that you know they are capable of driving decent even at a very low ride height. From experience its not possible to do that on the KW comfortably.

I'd like to think with a proper alignment and higher ride height that the boutique H&R would also drive nicely on sprited back roads and maybe some light drivers education work. Anything more serious than that would require a more track oriented setup IMO.

Thanks for the input. I was surprised they were stainless.
Sounds rotiform setup is where its at. My engine builder will be pissed, but I'm sure he's gonna hate my wheels too haha. Having the option to go reeeeaaaly low will be nice. I guess ill just have to watch them closely for maintenance
. You're right about kw. My evo and abarth had kw turned all the way down and they were def harsh. Cars handled great though.
Yea this isnt a track car. My previous noble and lotus ( loti) were more that speed. I work too much to get any track time in and have given up on any racing intentions for now sadly.

Quick one... Where is the ride height measured from?

As long as you are gonna turn your car into a caricature, you might as well do it right.

I hear low cars lead to music . And we all know where it goes from there... Dancing.
