Default Wire in windscreen/ shield?
Hopefully a quick one - I have a black wire running up the drivers A pillar about an inch in, then across the top and back down the middle where it stops near the seal.

Question is, is this an aerial or heater element? I need a new screen and want to make sure I get the right one ;-)

Any help much appreciated

Where does this wire come out of windscreen in order to connect to radio?

Bottom of the screen near the pillar, connects to an amplifier mounted behind the left hand (or right hand on RHD cars) oil gauge. ( or clock)
