The white CTR was David Beddors and it IS a RUF built car. Alois Ruf was not a certified car Mfg by German standards when these cars were built and Porsche only sold Ruf a few "Bodies in White" to be made into Ruf cars Even then they didn't have Ruf Vins but were called Full Conversions/ This is one of the 4 Cars the Beddor family ordered 2 CTR and 2 BTR there was a black and white of each model all were AWD I own the black BTR C-4. Then all 4 were sold in about 95 and they bought 4 more Ruf cars, CTR 2 Sport models. The 2nd famous yellow bird was Steve Beddors was one of the 4 CTR 2 Sports.

Ruf was certified as a manufacturer by the German Government in 1981. It was producing cars under their own VINs (W09) by the mid-1980s.
