That 8 series belongs to the owner of the shop. Going to be all csi and Alpina parts. Should be vey cool when he's done. Ultimately it will get a six speed and a s62 swap.

Progress on my car..

No real completion date set. With 7ft of snow on the ground, I'm not all that worried either.

Glass is out. No rust!

Ruf a pillar aero covers are molded in, so paint should be any day now.
Biggest update is on the wheels. David from Butzi gear just sent me this pic. With Mexico blue "big reds" behind them, should look killer

Im getting the "friend price" so im really hoping it's less than 5 figures.. Problem is all of the " while you're in there" additions. Hopefully I haven't gone too overboard. I did decide to keep the sunroof and rain gutters just to keep costs reasonable. Gives me something to do in the future anyway.

I love progress pics.

Wheels are being reassembled as I type this. My "big reds" are now " big blues". Last bit of paintwork being completed ( manual aero mirrors) and then it's time for wet sanding and buffing.

Love the Mexico Blue. Been watching the saga from the start. Highest praise to you for battling on through the trials. I too have an all-black C2 - '92. So I've watched with interest as to the direction you went. I want to go all "Black Betty" but my car has only 43k and I debate modifying it beyond what can't be reversed.

PM me the shop name where you're having the rust spots under the windshield done. Mine has a small bubble under the seal. Thanks!

If she's ready you should make the drive to New Canaan,CT for the April 19th show. http://caffeineandcarburetors.com/
We leave after 4am from Boston and have a ball running through the Merritt Parkway. There are amazing Porsche cars and everything else. 700 cars show up for 4 hrs then disappear. I live on the North Shore and make the run often. Great car.
