Hello,

I just bought a new 1991 C4 cab and it has mystery problem. The glovebox light, interior/dome light and front trunk light are NOT working.

All three bulbs have tested good. The front bonnet switch seems to be working, because when I test the alarm by raising the hood, the horn beeps.

I have checked all the usual fuses (#11, etc..) and all are good. Everything else- clock, dash lights, emergency flashers, exterior lighting, etc.... all work fine.

Any idea what might be causing just these THREE lights to not work??

Try to clean the door contacts, and the glovebox door contact. Emery cloth and dielectric grease should do it. In my car they were oxydised enough that the interior lights and glove box would not work
