Need a little help -
I have obtained a fiberglass top for my cab, and I am in the process of finishing. It was damaged in shipment so have to repair cracks etc. first.
One area that I have to make is the rear and side windows. I want to use Lexan plastic which I can obtain at the local aircraft supply shop. ( Also found some nice clear plastic aircraft window vents for the side windows) This is where I run into a problem. I do not know the size to cut the Lexan to use the standard rubber seals for the rear and side windows. I can make a template form the window frame itself but, I am not sure of how much smaller it needs to be to fit in the rubber seal properly.
If any of you have the side or rear glass out of your car or an old window around I would greatly appreciate it if you could pull a measurement and drop me a reply with the window sizes.
Your help is greatly appreciated.
Will post pictures and progress on the hard top once I get repairs made and actually start fitting process.

Post a pic up of your top/rubbers & I will try & help.....I take it the top is a aftermarket top?

You can see the top is still in the repair stage -
The window seals used are the standard side and rear window seals used by any 911 -
Am going to use the 964 side and rear window seals -

Nice top!!....I know this sounds obvious but you need to take templates of the original glass as doing it by measurements will just be near impossible....I'd give you my set I have but I'm in the uk.

I'm sure a local RL has a set of glass near you & I would wait untill then as it will save a lot of time/effort/money this way and money on the wasted lexan, & you can heat form it in a Bodyshop oven to the rear screen curve as well so it sits nice in the hole of the top when fitted.

Gus, are you going to keep the cab top out for good?

No - right now plan to change over by season. But, part of the remove / install is to figure out and design and adapter for the cab roof to make removal and install as easy as possible. Have read post on Pelican and here that you can get "cab" removal and install down to a 45 minute process. I am hoping for a little better time than that. This will also allow me to install the "speedster" back section.

No, not a D. Moris. Was made by a guy in Calif that made the top back in the late 90's best I can figure. He had this one left that he was going to put on his car. But, he sold his car and I contacted him at just the right time.

Ok - here is the update and some pics - of what I have done so far - Thanks to "fuch" who sent me some templates I was able to make the rear and side Lexan windows. ( see pic's) Used some aircraft vents - The top is on the car now as a test to see what the issues may be. So far it is working. I have it primed now, but need to sand, then another primer coat and sand again. The fiberglass is pretty wavy and has taken time to smooth. Especiall after the top was crushed and I had to rebuild. I think we will be ready to paint after the next sanding.
Have added a foam to the interior of the top to add a little extra strength and soundproofing. I added a front and rear cross section of 3/4 inch plywood to help add strength and give support to the broken areas. I molded the front top area to the upper area of the windshield to insure a good fit. I did this by using a high fiberglass body filler and a thin sheet of plastic sheeting that conformed to the fitting area. Will place a grey fabric foamed backing headliner in the interior of the roof once I go final. Install a small 8 inch section on the interior and it can be seen in one of the pictures.

That's a smart bit of kit. Will the black trims from a coupe fit under the rear side windows?

Not sure I understand the question as I am not that familiar with a coupe.
I did use the coupe side window rubber. But, used the cab roof window overhead and rear rubber seals.
