Default Rear anti roll drop links

I'm trying to source and alternative (and reasonably priced) to the Porsche made drop links 96433307301 & 96433307401. There is alot of play in one of them and I need to keep the MOT man happy!

One part is readily available, the other, apparently Porsche are trying to find a new supplier & have not set a 'back in stock' date until 2014.

I've had a look around, Tarett seem to make a set, but are more expensive, my car is only used lightly on the road. Never tracked.
Any suggestions? I'm in the UK.

Thanks.

If you're handy make your own Tarett style drop links, by reusing the upper fixation to the trailing arm and mounting 2 uniballs. Buy the boot seals for the joints and you're all set. Uniballs can be bought at a good price in the UK.

I think this is the chap you mean on eBay

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Porsche-91...item2ec96d5c37

If you message him he will provide a quote - I know he can do 964 front drop links and would imagine he can do rear ones?

BTW anyone fitted the front links from this chap?

Apparently so, £60 delivered to the UK - the only other choice at the moment is the £235 ones from Tarett - which I was willing to buy, but figure these might be worth a punt!?! Unless someone can see why I shouldn't?

Does anyone know how easy it is / if you can remove the bracket from the original drop link and put it on a new one that's made up?

Default Photo!

If I get new ones made - any idea how I can get the original bracket off this one? Look pretty secure on there to me!
Does anyone make / sell these as individual components?
