Default Glyco brand

I'm in the process of having my engine rebuilt and was wondering if anyone has had any experience with the Glyco brand offered from Pelican. For the piston rings and main bearing, there is almost a $800 price difference from original Porsche parts combined.

Anyone use them and how was their fitment and longevity?

Thanks

The rebuild knowledge is concentrated in the Pelican rebuild forum. Go there and search; from what I recall from reading there are significant issues with some currently available alternatives.

Steve Weiner's forum is another place I'd ask. I learn so much from his comments that sometimes I'm reluctant to read them because there's no way I could possibly give back in kind.
