Default vacuum hose questions

Hi, Please see picture. I would like to find out where does the pointed vacuum hose lead to(1). Is it a good vacuum hose for seafoam? If not, which hose should I use?

And what's function of the big piece connector(2).
thx

The hose 1 connects the induction pipe to the check valve, the other side of the check valve goes to the vacuum valve. The picture looks correct.
The connector 2 is part of the induction system that connects the throttle body to the intake runners.

Yes, good idea to reinforce that.
