Hello All,

In search of a 94 (maybe a 89) Speedster. What is the current market value for a nice car. I am open to any color etc

Any help would be sincerely appreciated.

Depends on mileage & condition. '89s are currently worth more than'94s- - even though more were manufactured.

Ranges for '89: $50-$110K; Mean of $90k
Ranges for '94: $50-$90K: Mean of $70k

Both are hard to come by right now in the states... Many US cars have been shipped to Asia & Europe into private collections in recent years.

I have not seen a $70 94...in at least 2 years. There have been a few questionable cars come for sale over the last 90 days. Cars needing lots of rehab yet they want retail ++.

BTW, 89 prices are considerably higher than your range. That $187k sale last month at the RM auction has blown the market up for those cars. I was told by several dealers that the 89s are now mid $100s cars if they are 9/10. As you said most are going over seas.

Interesting feedback Vegas. I search classifieds occasionally, and truthfully don't see many (89 or 94) up for sale. Vendors like Sloan offer a few at $150k+, but they seem to sit a while in inventory. That $187k RM auction number is shocking...

Update..focusing in on a 94. Any leads would be massively appreciated. Anywhere in the US (or maybe outside of the US).

I am looking for a nice near show quality car. Would be open to any colors/ options.
