91 c4 cuts out after going over a bump
My 964 started to hiccup and hesitate, and it took me a while to pinpoint what was going on. It seems that when I go over a bump, especially on the driver's side, the car will hesitate. It almost seems like it will stall, but if I put the clutch in it idles fine... just hesitates badly when I'm on the gas. It goes away after a few seconds, or if I hit a bump again.
I've almost gotten used to driving around looking for a second pothole or bump so I can shake the sillies out of it. I figure it must be a relay of some sort. Any likely suspects?

Bizzare... have you opened up the relay/fuse box in the trunk and checked that all relays and fuses are seated firmly in place?
Have you tried swapping the DME relay (R41) with a new one (essential carry-on spare)? The advice is also to check you have the 993 improved relay (the original being a 944 unit) - part #993 615 227 00.

Cutting out because of a bump sounds like an electrical fault. In addition to checking (replacing) the DME relay, I would check your grounds. There are a number of them but the two primary ones are at the bttery and the other is between the starter and the bottom of the car.

All good advice above. The things I would check are
-DME relay swap
-Connections to DME under the LH seat
-AFM connector not suffering grounding issues on pipes in engine bay (technical bulletin for this if you search)
-Ground straps and battery connections
-Hall connector on the distributor is not loose
Good luck
