Default Resonance valve

Hello I am wondering if any of you has tried testing your resonance valve and if so how did you do that. I think mine is opening but late like 5800 and not sure if its opening all the way? If I suck on the vacum line it moves it but how do I find out if its working while driving? Or if its opening at the correct time? I can hear a change in engine tone at 5800 which is my only way of thinking this is what happening. Considering trying to find way to stick go pro back there and drive it but if someone know a simpler way I would love to hear it.

Do you have the scan tool? There is a value for the MAF which might help. I'm not sure of the relationship with the resonance flap and the MAF.

I have a "scan" program on my lap top and I think I can get the MAF reading but do not think that tells me if when and how far the resonance valve operates? Thanks though will keep digging

If you play around with the configuration file for Boyce's scantool software, the resonance flap status value is stored in RAM at location 0x23 in bit position 2.
