I did mine a few months ago, and found that the center ones were bent the worst, but all of them needed a bit of straightening. I suspect it will depend on how badly yours have been pushed up. As in jpar's photo's it makes a HUGE difference.

that old uk site is really fantastic. those guys had it goin' on. it's too bad we lose lots of the important stuff from the older posts.

My center line was taken out when I installed a second oil cooler when I was racing my RS America. The car is now in the middle of a restoration but I’m not going back to the original car. It’s more reversing it back to a street car but keeping some of the race modifications that happened while I raced it. Here is what I’m doing with the grill/air intake. No smile, just a wide open mouth...
