Default Straightening smile

While I have the bumper off I'm going to straighten the smile. Do I bend all of the tab back down level or just some of them e.g. The front ones

I just did mine a few weeks ago. I bent the lip down a little beyond flat. What a difference the little things make.

Before

After

I did mine a few months ago, and found that the center ones were bent the worst, but all of them needed a bit of straightening. I suspect it will depend on how badly yours have been pushed up. As in jpar's photo's it makes a HUGE difference.

I have bent all of the tabs down slight past horizontal. Tomorrow I will put the bumper back on and see how we'll I've done.

My center line was taken out when I installed a second oil cooler when I was racing my RS America. The car is now in the middle of a restoration but I’m not going back to the original car. It’s more reversing it back to a street car but keeping some of the race modifications that happened while I raced it. Here is what I’m doing with the grill/air intake. No smile, just a wide open mouth...
