Default SRP 964 Racing Pedals 2013

Hello,

It's time for a 2013 update. If you haven’t seen my other threads, my company is SRP Racing. We are an official Rennlist sponsor. We have been making racing pedals since 1995.
www.srpracing.com
--------------------
Our pedals are designed to offer the highest levels of grip and much improved heel toe sizing. They are also the best looking pedals on the market I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves. We have many different surface finishes to choose from. The Grid surface finish is the most popular, so that is what I mostly post pictures of.
--------------------
Your feet will not slide on our pedals. Once you start braking, your foot will not slide. However, you still have plenty of control for blipping the throttle. You DO want your foot to slide on the gas pedal. This is so you can apply the throttle smoothly. You will notice that our Grid finish gas pedals have smoother grids, so as to reduce the grip.
--------------------
As a reminder, I am going to keep running the Rennlist discount coupon code for Rennlist members. Just enter: rennlist while checking out for 20% off.
--------------------
Please note, the pictures below are just examples, and might not be for your particular car.
--------------------
Our newest design, the Spike pedals:

--------------------
Grid pedals now have larger “grids” than before:

--------------------
You can order the pedals in the shiny, raw machined or with a satin finish:

--------------------
You can also order our pedals with black anodizing.

--------------------
We do offer other finishes. Check out our website for more pictures and info.

--------------------
If you would like more info on the grip levels of our pedals, follow the link below.

Thank you,
Brian

Thanks Brian. It appears that these pedals attach to the top of the existing pedals, rather than replacing the existing pedals, right?

I like the idea of better grip on the brake pedal (especially in the wet NW); however, I'd prefer a complete pedal assembly, rather than a pedal cover.

Thanks.

Correct, they do bolt onto the factory pedals. You do have to drill holes to mount them. Once installed they are not coming off, unless you take them off. If you do remove them, the holes on the brake and clutch will be covered by the factory rubber.
By attaching them this way, not only is it secure, you can now fine tune the height relationship between the brake and gas for easier heel toe. I just use flat washers in between the factory pedal and the SRP pedal. This make a fast, easy, and cheap way to get it right. Just takes a couple minutes to adjust.

Here’s a video of Grid and Spike pedals being machined. It's a boring video for most people, but it shows how the pedals are made and the amount of time it takes. After doing this first pass shown in the video, I then run a second pass a couple thousandths deeper to make the finish a bit cleaner. The mounting holes and the final outside passes still need to be done. The footrest and gas pedals on Porsches are huge, so they really take lots of time when compared to the brake and clutch.

Brian, just a quick question? How durable is the black finish? Will it last the test of time in a daily runner? They look very smart indeed and the video is ace mate.

Hi Brian,

Just ordered a set of black (+ silver) satin grids for UK 964 Carrera 2, they look great and will match the other things I'm doing.

In the mean time if you don't mind, would you send me a full length photo to be going on with please?

Cheers in advance,
Paul

Hi Rephlex,

I didn't want a footrest, fortunately it's an extra anyway.

Cheers,
Paul

Another pedal design I've been working on. Lightweight and medium grip. These are not on my website.
