Congratulations! She looks amazing, what a great color!

I'd keep the D90s and flag mirrors, but I'm in the minority.

Keep those pics coming - interior and engine bay please!

The car is so stock I am going to keep both. I am thinking of getting some turbo twists that would fit this car in 17 inch. Does anyone have a good link for a supplier? If I did find wheels to fit who makes the best tires? Ill take some interior and engine shots this weekend.

Are you considering showing it? Sounds like it might be a good Touring or Preservation Candidate in PCA concours.

Default What are the odds?

of there being two '90 C4s in Velvet Red Metallic purchased within six months of one another with less than 35K miles. Here's mine. All original

Post a pics tv90C4. I would love to see it. I found one very similar on Sloan when I was searching for the color. It sold but I do not know how long ago. It had around 30k on the clock. I'll post the link below. It is the page that I pulled up to see what Red Velvet Metallic looks like. Where did you buy yours?

One other thing....Mine is in such good condition right now I do not want to wear it out prematurely. I own storage facilities and have it in a unit in a facility that is close to my house but the more I read the more I start worrying about things that are not happening. Much like searching google for some health condition.

Right before I bought the car, the seller replaced the clutch, flywheel, and resealed the main gasket underneath. The shop pulled the motor and replaced any fitting that looked wore out. The shop was super reputable and the work looks amazing and the car is runs amazing. Oh, they even replaced the wired from both distributors. It has no leaks....power steering nor oil from any part of the car. There is also no corrosion on any part of the car underneath. I have absolutely nothing to worry about but I find myself feeling like this is the best condition this car is ever going to be in and the only thing I can do is screw it up from here. I know I'm being crazy. It is an irrational fear. Do any other owners feel this way?

Here's a picture of mine. Bought it in MA based on Craigs List posting that I saved. I am the third owner and have receipts back to new. There is a beginning of a leak that I have which I need to take care of

Jeez. You are right. They look identical. What a beautiful color. You even have the rear windshield wiper. Are you planing on keeping the D90 wheels? I'm thinking of finding some 17 inch turbo twist just for fun. Then I can swap in and out whenever I want. Do you know a good place to find wheels? Original wheels.com??

PS sorry for all the typos. I have got to get in the habit of reading my posts back before I submit. I read my emails and texts. Why would I not read my posts back!?!?

by-the-way, I am pretty sure that car on Sloan wound up being mine. It never sold. The owner took the car back and posted again on CL in May in Boston. He just kept the ad up for a week or so and then took it down. I saw it and saved until I was ready to buy and called in October on a whim to see if the car was still available. I think he was a bit nervous about consigning the car and dealing with Sloan. The paperwork I got with the car included the original consignment terms and conditions with them, so I am pretty sure it is the same car

I will not change a thing. The inspection I got indicated the beginning of a head gasket leak, so I am going to need to address that - possibly later this year. Other than that, the car got a clean bill of health from the shop I use. As a matter of fact, they told me flat out to buy the car even with the prospect of the engine repair. I was pretty surprised by this, because they are pretty conservative and picky.

I do like the look of turbo twists on these cars, but I think I will stay with the D90s

That is cool. Porsche world + 964 enthusiasts + the Internet = a very small world.
