Yep, thoroughly enjoyed that. We were lucky with the weather too! I'll try and upload a couple of photos later

I'd thought about making the effort to head up to Ruthin, but headed south to deliver some tyres I'd sold instead. Heavy snowfall from Banbury down to Oxford made the driving incredibly treacherous.

I narrowly avoided a horrendous accident (I estimate by less than 10 seconds) as a car on the opposite carriageway ended up hitting the central reservation at speed and deformed the Armco what looked to be in excess of 1.5 meters. The resulting impact showered the outside two lanes of the opposite carriageway of the motorway with debris . . . .

Very strange to be reading about a North Wales Run without having been there. :-(

Glad it went well though. Looking forward to some pictures.

I'll second what everyone has said before me about todays run. Great weather, good, mostly dry roads and a small select band of people, all intent on enjoying the drive. Baz was on point and I was tail-end Charlie, 'cos I knew the route! See y'all on the next one hopefully? Hope your back is better soon John. Brian.

I even missed Brian quizzing me about winter-lined trousers. :-)

A few photos from the trip (taken on my phone, so apologies about the quality).

Usual stopping off point at Pentrefoelas:

Sten, Ras62 and myself parked up at Gary's place nearby:

And Gary's project (hopefully on the road this summer):

You would be very welcome guys, the roads alone are worth the effort but add in the cars and the company and its great fun. Hell...if you follow Baz you can even get free flying lessons!!

Absolutely. Would be good to get a group of the London guys to head out together. Let's plan on it for the next one.

...if it was planned for Sunday 28th April then you could combine it with the trackday at Anglesey which is on Saturday 27th April.
