964 rear spoiler search
This is my first post. Although I have owned a number of Porsches in the past, it has been over 10 years since my last one. I've been hanging around in the world of BMWs for awhile and still have 2 of those "other cars".
I just acquired a very nice 1990 C2, 82K, GP white/black sports seats from a friend. At some point in the past, the original rear spoiler was replaced with an aftermarket piece - looks much like the whaletails on my old 1987 & 1988 911s but with an additional piece across the top, like an "extra" spoiler. Once I figure out how to post photos here, I'll try to post some shots.
I'm thinking about trying to find a used decklid/spoiler in white and putting the car back to stock. I would also consider a RS spoiler, which looks like my old whaletails.
Any suggestions or sources would be much appreciated!

Snap, I've just bought this car and am looking to revert to the original or fit a ducktail. Actually, I'm not crazy on my wheels either. They seem to be very rare. D90s centres with custom rims.

Hi John. Thanks for posting the photo of your "new" car - that is the same aftermarket spoiler I've got on mine. Perhaps some folks around here have some suggestions for us in the spoiler department.

John McM,
Very interesting wheels!
I've been hanging around Porsche's for a long time and have never seen D90's in that form?
Please tell us more! Are they 17s or 18s? Were the original D90 rim centers cut to fit the rim barrel of a larger 3-piece wheel system?
gray635,
(sorry the the quick thread hijack - HAD to ask about the D90s)
Follow this link and call to see if they happen to have a white lid in stock? (or at the very least, a good schematic of all the parts involved): http://dcauto.gotdns.com/illustration/index/518119538

911Jetta,
The car is being delivered on Saturday, so I'll get a close look at the wheels then. The car is ex Singapore, then New Zealand, so the wheels could have come from either country. I thinks its most likely they were sourced in Singapore. They are 17". More info to follow when I see them in the metal.
