Flachbau - narrow body style

I just came across these interesting pictures.
Other than Eddie Bellow's famous white hot rod, I haven't seen too many narrow body Flachbaus. I wonder if it's a steel conversion? I'd love to see one in real life.
What do you guys think??

If I could find steel fenders with those lights, they would be in tomorrow! RUF Mag 18" rims, and a tail ( still can't make up my mind which tail would look best with this front end, and most important for this custom conversion, Gamroth's engine ![Stick Out Tongue](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/tongue.gif)
ps. of course with some after thought, maybe they would look good on a speedster?

Yuck.
The best part of a 964 is the traditional wings/headlamps. Now, if it were possible to take the back half of a 993 and mate it to the front half of a 964, them you might have something. :-)
As de Geert alludes to, if you want a 993, buy a 993.
