Default Flachbau - narrow body style

I just came across these interesting pictures.
Other than Eddie Bellow's famous white hot rod, I haven't seen too many narrow body Flachbaus. I wonder if it's a steel conversion? I'd love to see one in real life.

What do you guys think??

Default Beauty is in the eye of the beholder

If I could find steel fenders with those lights, they would be in tomorrow! RUF Mag 18" rims, and a tail ( still can't make up my mind which tail would look best with this front end, and most important for this custom conversion, Gamroth's engine

ps. of course with some after thought, maybe they would look good on a speedster?

Yuck.

The best part of a 964 is the traditional wings/headlamps. Now, if it were possible to take the back half of a 993 and mate it to the front half of a 964, them you might have something. :-)

As de Geert alludes to, if you want a 993, buy a 993.

Brian

Not my taste. I prefer the classic 911 headlights & fenders.

A 993 looks much better. And a real 964 looks better than either!

I've always loved the front of the 964 and the rear of the 993. This car has it backwards!

Not for me. It's neither fish nor fowl.
