I remember swinging by the shop many years ago, then with a 914. He just happened to be there on a rare Saturday. Me with no money had complained about a soft clutch pedal. John threw a jack beneath the car, sqeezed under and quickly adjusted the cable. Then yelled " No charge and get out of here, today's my day off"!
