i think in MY02 (model year 2002) that porsche would have more than x1 wheel option.

provide the widths & offsets then people can help.

I was looking at wheels recently and pretty sure the MY02s which are recommended as track wheels for the 964 are 8 (50) and 10 (65) 18 inch. So that would be at least an 18mm spacer at the rear to get back to a 47 offset. Not sure if anything needed at the front?

I am going to try to fit some with 285 rear and 235 front in the next few weeks when it gets a little warmer. Mine is lowered to Euro height and I have coil overs.. I will report to everyone. I have been doing some research here and I assume I will need 18mm to 21mm spacers for the rears. From what I have read, the fronts will fit.

I'll keep you posted.

Wow - that's a lot of rubber front and back. Have heard of 275 rear but not 285. With 65mm - 21mm spacer gets you ET44 - I'd say that will be rubbing on the inside with 285 rubber. Be very interested to see how you get on.

+1. I've got 225 front 275 rears on 18" wheels. My rear fenders are rolled all the way in and there isn't much clearance left!

Calculations are one thing but, for real-world applications and experience:

My C4 with EuroRS height works well on MY02's (8ET50/10ET65) with 245/35/18 and 285/30/18 MPSC's with no front spacer and a 21 mm rear spacer.

I do have a factory-flattened oil line, rolled fenders, and the updated steering stops. I also have 500/780 springs.

Yes, it is a lot of rubber.

Mark, is only one 21mm spacer required on the passenger rear or are they required on both sides of the rear?

Are they mounted on stock bolts?

Do you recall the measurement of the steering stops?

Thanks.

H&R makes a great quality spacer. The larger sizes come with bolts so you won't NEED longer studs in the car itself.

I think the steering stops are 10mm. Please correct me if my memory has failed me.

Yes, required on both sides. Stock bolts are 47 mm IIRC and I have 71 mm studs.

I don't remember the steering stop sizes.

True but I was nervous of having a set of hidden lug nuts that I could not easily torque at the track so opted for the longer studs.

Default input please

I mounted the wheels (or tried to anyways) tonight. Fronts clear no problem. Rear, without any spacers made contact with the inner wall so I jacked it back up and removed it.

BTW. This is with MY02 5 spoke wheels ET65 with 265/35/18 tires.

This wheel spacer calculator states that I need a 12mm spacer...

OEM CUP I wheel is ET52.

So, in order to clear oil line and not rub either side, do I go with a 12mm spacer, or 21mm? Or, do I go somewhere in between?

Thanks in advance.
