Default Oil Filter Pliers

I don't have access to my car at the moment, so can anyone tell me if you have enough access in the engine bay to use this type of oil filter removal tool?

I want to get one that fits both my cars and i know they will get to the filter on my Saab.

cheers
Simon

I just do it by hand. Seems those pliers would be a bit difficult to get in there to be of much use.

When necessary, I use a strap wrench. It fits them all!

I use a strap wrench that swivels at an angle. I dont think the pliers you are looking at will work as the lip of the rear fender sticks out farther than the oil filter blocking access

I use an oil filter socket like this one. It works very well as long as I stick with the same brand of filter.

That's the one I have. No problem with access. It's also good for squeezing the brake pads back to the pistons when changing them.

I use BAP

Big *** Pliers for the first 1/4 turn, then by hand.
