The Mille Miglia are 2-3 lbs more each than the OEM Porsche wheels.

That was my thought as well.

IIRC, it has been said that the difference between the real Cup 1's and the MM can be easily seen at a glance by comparing the distance between the lug nut openings and the center cap hole; the MM's have a very short space there compared to the real Cup 1's.

From the photo, the spacing looks to be about the same as my MM's.

Also, the MM's do not have the size and offset cast into the rim.

I agree that MM cup 1 reps look good but not sure I'd bother with new ones at 2,000 euro per set when used ones can be bought for a quarter of that!

Is the price not 260 euro a wheel so about a grand total?

The MM wheels have "flatter" spokes than the OEM wheels, which have more of a continuous curve to the spokes. The photo to me looks more like the OEM wheels than the MM replicas.

They are, I just checked my reps and they are same offsets, widths and look to be an exact replica of a replica! I love mine.

I've requested weights from FVD and will post when they reply.

The are advertised as exact replica's, in my book that means exact in every way inc weight. lets see what they say.

Look at this pic from Wheel Enhancement:

http://www.wheelenhancement.com/inde...elDetail&id=31

I assume those are genuine because the offset and diameter are molded into the rim by the valve stem hole. And also, look at the distance between the center cap and the lug openings.

Now look at the FVD photo. No size and offset, and the spacing from the center cap opening to the wheel lug opening is much smaller.

The FVD rims surely are rebranded versions of MM's. Not that there is anything wrong with that. I have used a set of MM's as my road wheels since I got the car in 2001. They are a well made wheel.
