My 1991 C2 coupe with 107k miles. I rebuilt the engine this past spring and while doing I replaced some sticker, brackets, pulleys and etc.

Is your an original speed yellow from 1993 onwards, as in that case its the first one I know of. Great looking engine bay, makes me realize I have some work to do....

I notice you've got the later, lighter engine bay insulation
Is that a sock you've put around the oil filler neck ?

Thank you. Yes while the engine was out I replaced the engine bay insulation with an aftermarket one from Pelican.
Very observent! Yes I took some old black cotton sock, cut the calf part off and sliped it over the oil filler tube.

If you you remove the oil fill cap you will see an o-ring inside, so when tightened the o-ring seals against the top of the metel oil fill tube. Over 20 + years the top of the metal oil fill tube gets dinged or bent from mechanics not being more carefull. The sock soakes up any oil that may seep out from reidual pressure.
